    Green Chain Marathon

    This was a great race.  The weather was more like a nice summers day rather than the beginning of autumn.

    The majority of the run was in the large amount of woodland along the Green Chain Walk in SE London.  We started off in Eltham then made our way up to the Thames to join the Thames footpath through Thamesmead and up to Dartford.  We then started to return to Eltham, past the palace then down to Mottingham and then back up to the start/finish.
