Rod exchanged a couple of messages with me to update his address, etc and his
last message sends a further invitation to members:

Hi Peter

Yes. we've sold our house in Kidlington (Oxfordshire) with much heart wrenching,
but we've found a lovely house in Alderney. I do hope you and other V members
will visit us, either for the Alderney Half Marathon on the first Saturday of
every September (www.alderney-half-marathon.org), or indeed at any other time.

I've formed the Alderney Runners, and we go for a training run every Wednesday
evening. I compete in all the Channel Island Races and a few of the Normandy and
Brittany ones, waving the VC&AC flag.

I will continue to visit the UK for 90 days a year, pack in a few races, and
hopefully see you and other members. I will continue to be a member.

We are very sorry to leave the UK, but Mr Brown is quite explicit that he
doesn't want anyone in the country that generates employment, wealth and
exports.
